Veteran rockers Queen have just announced that, they will launch their own brand of beer as a way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
The new brew, which is named “Queen Bohemian Lager” has been brewed in the Czech Republic. It was was born out of Plzen in the western half of the country and was previously part of the of Bohemian Kingdom back in the 1840s where it became known as Bohemian Pilsner.
The bottle will carry Queen’s crest, that was designed by original frontman Freddie Mercury while he was a student at Ealing Art College in London, where he earned a diploma in art and graphic design, and the image from “A Night at the Opera,” the album on which “Bohemian Rhapsody” first appeared.
Queen Bohemian is described by the band’s press release as being a “golden, hoppy” beer will start hitting shelves in Europe this summer, with a worldwide release to follow.
