The Horrors Completes New Album

February 11, 2014

Good new for fans of The Horrors, the band have revealed that they have finished work on their much-anticipated new album.

Faris BadwanThe band’s frontman Faris Badwan, speaking to BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe last night, said they were now looking for a font to go on the upcoming album’s sleeve.

“The record is finished now, we’re deciding a running order and the artwork and finally, the hardest thing of all is coming up with the name. It’s a nightmare. It’s the worst part of being in a band, or at least the most time consuming.” Badwan said.

When asked how the new tracks were sounding, Badwan added: “I would honestly say it’s my favourite record we’ve done, because I feel like we finally got close to what we actually wanted from the songs… I’m happy with it, I’m really happy with it.”

The album will be the band’s fourth LP and the follow-up to 2011’s “Skying”, which was their first UK Top 5 album and their first to be certified silver.
