Liam Gallagher Will ‘Never’ Play Glastonbury Again

April 30, 2013

Liam GallagherLiam Gallagher has vowed never to play Glastonbury again.

The Beady Eye frontman has previously performed Glastonbury three times including two headlining slots in 1995 and 2004 with ex-bandmates Oasis. But he has now told Xfm that he would never play there again: “Never, ever doing that thing ever again because it’s a nightmare” Liam said.

Gallagher has previously blasted Glastonbury for its poor sound system and high numbers of celebrities. He said “The sound is s— and really quiet. And now it’s like Bond Street with mud, with loads of celebrities walking around in their boots and umbrellas. I’m not having it.”

Beady Eye have lined up festival slots at V Festival, Benicassim and T In The Park this summer.
