Robin Gibb’s Family Sings to Him in Hopes to Bring Him out of Coma

Robin GibbRobin Gibb’s family members including his brother Barry, have tried singing to him in an effort to bring him out of his coma, his wife has said.

In an exclusive interview with The Impartial Reporter Robin’s wife Dwina said the couple’s children Robin John, Spencer and Melissa have been playing music to their father to “try and bring him back to us.” She also told the newspaper “His brother Barry, his wife Linda and son Stephen came over from America. Barry was singing to him. Thousands of people are saying prayers every day.”

A source close to Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb, told The Sun newspaper “There were flickers of life from Robin. His eyes moved and there was an attempt at speech.”

The British-born singer has been in hospital in London, since he lost consciousness last week, after contracting pneumonia in his fight against cancer.

Gibb’s family has been keeping vigil at his bedside at a hospital in Chelsea, west London.
