Cheryl Cole Scores Double Number Ones on UK Charts

Cheryl ColeThe Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has scored a rare double hit on the UK charts, as her debut solo album “3 Words” joined her first solo single “Fight for This Love” at the top of the charts.

Martin Talbot of the Official Charts Company said that “3 Words” looks set to be one of the biggest albums of this coming Christmas. He continued that Cole “on her way to becoming the Queen of Christmas 2009,”.

“3 Words” was released in the UK on October 26, 2009. It reached Number 1 in the UK Album Chart after its first week of release.

“Fight for This Love” was Cole’s first entirely solo release outside of Girls Aloud, it broke the record for the fastest-selling single of 2009 in the UK on its release.
